Applying for an embassy visa:
Seychelles, as if now, does not have any Vietnam embassy, inland and hence obtaining a visa is a hectic task for the applicants here. The citizens do not have any other way but to locate an embassy in a neighboring country that can accept the visa requests. You may approach any of the embassies as per your convenience, with your application.
1) You need to complete the visa application form that has been provided on the embassy website. Attach the required documents, a colored photo, and fill up this form for submission.
2) Visiting the embassy personally is out of question hence; you need to submit the form via postal service. Choose a reliable service, as you have to send your original passport to the embassy. You can pay the processing fee as per your convenience, via check or in cash.
3) Once the form is accepted by the embassy, the visa will be processed in the next 5 to 7 business days. You will surely need some more days due to the postal service involved.
4) This visa will give you the authority to enter into Vietnam through any preferred route i.e. land, water, or air.
Applying for a VOA:
It should be realized by now that getting an embassy visa is a difficult task and expensive too, as you have to apply through internationally located authorities. Hence, we recommend all the Seychelles citizens to go for a Visa on Arrival that is the smartest way of getting a visa.
1) Fill up the application form without any documentation involved. Pay the required processing fee and you are sorted. This fee will depend on the visa that you need and the duration for which you wish to stay.
2) This application is forwarded to the Vietnam Immigration department that will hand over an approval letter in your name. We will send this to your registered e-mail address within two business days only.
3) This letter is all you need to travel to Vietnam. Once you land at the airport, the approval letter will be verified by the immigration officer and then your visa will be stamped. We ensure that the whole process is hurdle free for our clients.
4) This visa is valid for a journey via air route only. For entry though water and land gateway, only an embassy can give a valid visa.
