The country of Vietnam has been rising as a growing economy on a global scale. This growth has resulted in increased movement of people towards it. Vietnam has been developing democratic, diplomatic and economic relations. The rich heritage also attracts a number of tourists from all over the world. Macedonia and Vietnam share good democratic relations but they do not share reciprocal agreements for exemption from visa. According to the Vietnam Visa Policy, any Macedonian citizen should possess a valid visa for entering Vietnam. There are two ways of obtaining a visa, on through an embassy and the other through VOA via an agency like our own.

Getting an embassy visa:

Unfortunately, Macedonia is not one of the 70 countries with a Vietnam embassy making the process of obtaining an embassy visa more complicated. The steps for obtaining an embassy visa are explained below:

1) The first step is locating a Vietnam Embassy in a neighboring country. You may approach any embassy in these countries.

2) Get yourself acquainted with the application process; you may get in touch with them for better understanding of the procedure. After that, you can complete your part of the process that is filling the application form, depositing the fee and submitting the required documents.

3) You may visit the embassy for submission of the form and required documents or send everything via mail. Select a reliable postal service if you do not wish to visit the embassy.

4) The entire process takes about 5-7 days. However, as the embassy is in a different country the time taken for delivery may vary. In such a situation it is important to plan ahead and to keep a buffer period for the process before travelling. This process is also less economical.

Getting a Visa on Arrival:

Lack of a Vietnam Embassy makes the process of getting a visa via an embassy tedious, complicated and time consuming. It is also evident that the process is not economical. A different method is available to make the process of getting a visa less stressful, i.e. Visa on Arrival or VOA. The cherry on the top is that fact that you do not have to submit any documents for processing. Please remember that this method is only applicable for air travel.

1) Fill the application for on our website and pay the process fee. That is all the work to be done on you part.

2) Next we send your application form to the immigration department. Where once the form is cleared an approval letter is sent.

3) Approval letter is emailed to the applicant in 2-3 days. This letter and a valid passport is all that is required for boarding the flight.

4) Once, you reach the major airports, the approval letter and passport will be cross verified and the visa will be stamped.

5) If you wish to travel by alternate routes you will have to opt for an embassy visa.

6) Apply for a VOA and make the process of getting a visa easier.
