As per this visa policy, it is mandatory for a Congo citizen to have a valid Vietnamese visa to travel there. Although, Vietnam asks the Congo citizens to get a visa, it sure gives the Congo citizens a few liberties that allow them to have a visa free stay. The two major modes of getting a visa are through the embassy and getting VOAs through agents like us.
1) Getting visa through an embassy:
At present, Vietnam does not have any established embassy in Congo hence the people over here need to follow a slightly different and lengthier procedure to avail an embassy visa.
• Firstly, you need to look for a Vietnam embassy in one of the neighboring countries that can process your visa application. Nations like Algeria, Angola, Mozambique, and Tanzania etc. have Vietnam embassies. You may avail their services.
• Simply, visit their website and download the application form. Fill up this form, prepare the necessary documents, and photograph that are needed to support your application.
• Send this form along with the original passport to the embassy through post.
• Once the form reaches the embassy and is accepted the visa is processed in the next 3 to 5 business days. Plan your trip and visa process keeping in mind the extra time you will need for postal service.
• This visa will be send to you via post provided you sent a pre paid envelope to the embassy.
• This visa holds good for entry into Vietnam through any route.
2) Getting a VOA:
The process of getting an embassy visa has become a little troublesome for Congo citizens due to absence of an embassy. Hence, VOA is the most appropriate method to get a visa for Vietnam.
