You will have to apply online and key in all your details such as purpose of visit, duration of stay, dates of travel and return etc. While stating your purpose of visit, you will have to choose from three options – business, tourist and transit. The business Visa comes with a validity of one month, three months and six months. The tourist Visa offers a validity of one month and transit Visa offers a validity of less than five days. Once the form is filled, you will have to wait for a few days till your form is processed.
After the form is processed, you will be issued a letter of approval. Your travel agent can collect this letter of approval on your behalf. On reaching Vietnam, you can submit this letter of approval at the Visa on Arrival counter at the airport you arrive in. You will also have to submit Visa stamping fees along with the letter of approval to collect your Visa.

To apply for the Visa, you need a valid and original Afghan passport. The passport should have a validity of six months and a few spare pages for stamping.
