Ways get visa Vietnam for New Zealand citizen

However, many countries are there who are exempted from having a visa to enter Vietnam, but unfortunately New Zealand is not among the list. How to collect Vietnam visa on arrival?

Once you visit any of these sites the immediate step that you need to do is fill in the application form online and pay the service tax by using a credit card. You generally need to wait for 2 business days. If you want it urgently then it will take 1 day time and your approval letter will be mailed to you. The next important step is to collect your visa which can be done on arriving the Vietnam airport. For collecting the visa you need a copy of your approval letter, your passport, 2 passport size photos and some dollars to be paid as stamping fee at the Vietnam airport. 

Things to remember

The second method i.e. Vietnam visa on arrival is only applicable to the people having a New Zealand passport and travelling by air. If you plan to visit Vietnam by some other transport, then you need to collect your visa directly from the Vietnam Embassy in New Zealand. In such cases make sure that you passport is valid for 6 months. This way of getting a Vietnam visa is preferred by most of the people due to its short processing time and it is also a cost effective way. 

It is also to be remembered that VOA is also not a full visa. Instead it is a particular situation in which the traveler employs a travel agent before he or she arrives to Vietnam in order to obtain an official approval letter on their approval to Vietnam.
