• A person holding Brunei or Myanmar passport can travel to Vietnam for 14 days without visa.

• If you hold Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Brunei, Myanmar passport you can go to Vietnam for 15 days without visa.

• A person holding a Philippines passport can travel to Vietnam for 21 days without visa.

• If you hold Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia passport you can go to Vietnam for 30 days without visa.

Authorities for issuance of Vietnam visa

If you have an approval letter which is issued by the Immigration Department or Public Security Ministry, or consular bureau Vietnam, you can directly apply for Vietnam visa on your arrival at Vietnam Airport in which the maximum staying period ranges from 1 to 3 months.

Expansion of visa duration: 

Vietnam visa can be expanded for maximum 90 days. However, it is applicable for the holders of visa exemption authentication. 

Information regarding Minors:

Minors who are 13 years old or younger arriving or departing Vietnam should be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.  According to the European Union (EU) Legislation, Minors of Austria are expected to hold their National ID Card or Passport when departing from Croatia, Cyprus, Bulgaria or Romania.
