Some information & procedure to get visa at embassy of Vietnam in Mongolia

Citizens of Mongolia who want to travel Vietnam for tourist or business purpose are required to have a legal Vietnam visa. A citizen can travel for various purposes but the two most common purposes that people usually travel Vietnam for is as a tourist or business purpose. The authority responsible for granting Vietnam visa is the Vietnam Immigration department. Only immigration department approves your visa no other authority is responsible for visa approval. It is very essential for Mongolian citizens to understand each and every procedure of obtaining a Visa to Vietnam.

What is the procedure to get Vietnam visa

There are two procedures-

1. Apply online

You can fill the online visa form with us by visiting our website and following these four simple steps-

  • Fill in the online visa application form at our website with correct information in the respective fields.
  • Make payment using any one of the options such as payment through PayPal or Western Union. You can also pay through internet banking or Credit card.
  • The immigration department will issue an approval letter to us and then we forward it onto your email within 24 or 48 hours. 
  • Finally, when you land at the International airport of Vietnam, present your passport, approval letter and two passport sized photos, usually of size 2x2 inches or 4x6 cm. If you non air traveler then visit the embassy of Vietnam in Israel present the approval letter, photographs and passport. At last you are required to pay stamp fee to stamp visa on your passport.

Same is the process for non air travelers but non-air travelers need to visit the embassy with their approval letter given by us and get the stamp on their passport.

2. Visit the embassy of Vietnam in Mongolia

Visit the embassy with all mandatory documents, photographs passport sized, stamp fee and passport. Apply for visa there. This will take 3 to 4 visits.

What is the stamping fee and service charge for Mongolian citizens-?

For Tourist and Business visa

Charges to get your visa stamped (subject to change)

  • Single entry on 1 or 3 months visa at USD 45. 
  • Multiple entries on less than 1 month visa at USD 65.
  • Multiple entries on full 1 month visa at USD 95. 
  • Multiple entries on 3 months visa at USD 95.

Service charges (subject to change)

  • Single entry on 1 and 3 months visa at USD 16 and USD 33 respectively. 
  • Multiple entries on less than 1 month visa at USD 25.
  • Multiple entries on full 1 month visa at USD 25. 
  • Multiple entries on 3 months visa at USD 150.

Transit Visa fee:

Mongolian citizen staying in Vietnam for less than five days to apply for transit visa the types of fees are as follows. This situation arises mainly when you travel for business meeting or exhibition in the country. 

Service fee- USD 15

Stamping fee- USD 5

Points to remember-

  • Always carry your passport having at least six months of validity.
  • Carry passport sized photographs.
  • Passport related documents.
  • All mandatory documents. 
  • Always remember when your visa is going to expire otherwise the immigration department will be after you.
