Some Information and Procedure to Get Visa from Embassy of Vietnam in Singapore

Vietnam offers easy and simple Visa application process for any foreign citizen who wishes to visit the country. The citizens of Singapore are entitled to Visa exemption in Vietnam for a period of 30 days. However, if an individual from Singapore wishes to stay in Vietnam for a period of more than 30 days, he will have to obtain Visa like other foreign nationals. If you are a citizen of Singapore and wish to visit Vietnam for a period of more than 30 days, you can apply for Visa through any of the two methods. You can either contact the Embassy of Vietnam in Singapore or apply for Visa on Arrival. 

At the embassy, you will be asked to fill the Visa application form in English. You will also have to mention the place of collection and submission of the Visa as Vietnam. It is mandatory for anyone who wishes to apply for Visa through the embassy to hold a valid and original passport. Along with the duly filled form, you will have to submit a recent passport size photograph, one self-addressed envelope and your original passport. Besides submitting these documents, you will also have to pay the Visa fees. The amount can be paid in favor of the Embassy of Vietnam by way of cashier’s check or money order.
