All Ecuadorian citizens are required to obtain Visa in order to travel to Vietnam. There are two ways in which any individual who wishes to travel to Vietnam can obtain Visa:

• Apply through Embassy

Vietnam does not have an embassy in Ecuador. Hence, Ecuadorian citizens or passport holders who wish to secure a Visa to Vietnam should get in touch with embassies in nearby countries. You can either personally visit the embassy or get in touch with the embassy officials to check if the procedure can be facilitated through postal mail. When applying through the embassy, you are required to hold a valid and original Ecuadorian passport, which has a validity of at least six months and a few spare pages for stamping. You will have to fill up a form and submit it along with your original passport, one recent passport sized photograph and a self-addressed envelope. 

Does Ecuadorian Citizens Need Visa for Entering Vietnam or Not?

Yes, Ecuadorian citizens require Visa to enter Vietnam. Visa to Vietnam can easily be obtained by either of these two methods. Any Ecuadorian citizen who wishes to travel to Vietnam can either contact an Embassy of Vietnam for the Visa application process or get in touch with a travel agent in Vietnam for Visa on Arrival. 

Since, Vietnam does not have an embassy in Ecuador; Ecuadorian citizens will have to contact the Embassy of Vietnam in the nearest neigh boring country. Ideally, citizens interested in applying for Visa to Vietnam are required to personally visit the Embassy several times for the application process and the developments following in the process. At the embassy, you will be asked to fill the Visa application form in English and submit documents such as your original passport, a recent passport sized photograph and a self-addressed envelope along with the form. You will also be required to pay the Visa fees which can be paid in favor of the Embassy of Vietnam by way of money order or cashier’s cheque.
