President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum in Hanoi Capital city, Vietnam

Started constructing in September 1973, the President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum was built on the foundations of the old rostrum in Ba Dinh Square where President Ho Chi Minh used to preside over the national meetings. About two years later, on August 29, 1975, the construction of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum was officially completed.

There are Vietnamese words: “Chu Tich Ho Chi Minh”, which are solemnly positioned on the front door of the Mausoleum that means “President Ho Chi Minh”. Inside the Mausoleum, there is a large glass coffin sited in the center of the room, in which the remains of President Ho Chi Minh are respectfully placed. Uncle’s Ho appears with the faded khaki clothes and plain rubber shoes. The Mausoleum is the everlasting rest house of the greatest leader of Vietnam.
