Some information & procedure to get visa at embassy of Vietnam in Mauritania

The people of Mauritania are required to have a visa in order to entry Vietnam. However, there is no Vietnam embassy in Mauritania yet. For this reason there is no chance for the people of Mauritania to apply for Vietnam visa through the consulate of Vietnam embassy. As an alternative they can easily apply for visa on arrival issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department. 

The Vietnam Immigration Department has been successfully issuing Vietnam visa since 2003. Vietnam visa on arrival is also known as Vietnam evisa. This is an online visa issuing system that is allowing people to apply as well as receive the approval for the visa online. Starting from filling the visa approval form till getting the visa approval letter the entire process can be done online.
