Does Cambodian Citizens Need Visa for Entering Vietnam or Not?
No. Cambodian citizens enjoy Visa exemption in Vietnam for a period of 30 days. However, if a Cambodian citizen wishes to stay in Vietnam for a period of more than 30 days, then he will have to obtain Visa like any other foreign national. Any Cambodian citizen or passport holder who wishes to travel to Vietnam and wishes to stay for a period of more than 30 days can obtain Visa by either contacting the Vietnam embassy in Cambodia or applying for Visa on Arrival.
To apply through the embassy, the Cambodian citizen must hold a valid and original passport. If you are a Cambodian citizen who wishes to travel to Vietnam, you can contact the Embassy of Vietnam in Cambodia and seek assistance from the embassy officials for filling up of application forms, submission of relevant documents and payment of mandatory fees. At the embassy, you will be asked to fill the application form and submit it along with other documents such as your original passport, one recent passport size photograph and a self-addressed envelope.
