We would you to inform that Vietnam and Uganda have no bilateral agreement on visa exemption and Ugandan passport holders are required visa for entering to visit Vietnam. As an Ugandan citizens, please don’t forget to apply for Vietnam visa if plan to visit Vietnam for tourist or business purpose.

Vietnam embassy in Uganda

Some information and procedures to get visa at Vietnam embassy in Uganda

Uganda citizens need visa to enter Vietnam but Uganda passport holders need to visit its nearby country Tanzania to apply for visa as the Vietnam Embassy is not present in Uganda.

- A citizen of Uganda before applying for Vietnam visa should ensure about his/her passport minimum validity of 6 month and left pages.

- Obtaining Visa at the time of arrival choice is applicable only to Uganda citizens traveling by air.
